Australia Day Chic
Just because it's 'Straya day, doesn't mean you have to blow the budget on flag patterned paper cups and plates, or get a southern cross tattoo. Here's some ways to add some retro chic into your backyard or beachside event.
For a colourful retro feel, use vintage plates, such as the bamboo floral ones i spied in an op-shop. Match it in with a striped vintage tea towel or table cloth and a fresh fruit bowl or fruit salad.
If you want to go the way of the green and gold, why not source out a floral vintage table cloth or large piece of floral fabric to adorn your table? Add a touch of yellow and green by attaching lemon and lime slices to your punch bowl and glasses. Candy bananas, pineapple lollies and pineapple lumps add a fun, retro touch.
