Bubbly Beauty

Sometimes a NYE soiree can leave your fridge littered with half-full bottles of champagne. If the thought of consuming any more alcohol is making your head hurt, try these simply bubbly beauty recipes for a beautiful 2013.

Leftover Bubbly Beauty Tips:

Use champagne in your hair for added shine!

This is a particularly good tip for blondes, giving your locks a smooth, silky look. Mix half a cup of leftover champagne with half a cup of hot water and distribute the mix evenly throughout your hair. Let it sit a little while (5-10 minutes) before rinsing and styling as usual.

Make a champagne face toner!

Soak a cotton pad in chilled, sparkling wine and wipe thoroughly across a cleansed face and neck. The antioxidants in the champagne are a treat for your skin. Only use this treatment 2 times a week to avoid drying your skin out. Follow with moisturiser.

Enjoy a bubby bath for your body!

Take the term ‘bubble bath’ literally by replacing bath salts with champagne. Do a body scrub before entering the tub, to improve circulation. When you get it, pour in champagne (and some bath gel, if you like) and enjoy the exfoliation. You’ll be surprised by the results.
