No, dear readers, I'm not using Cockney slang. I'm being crafty.

It's Christmas time again and it's time to join me for a dabble in the Chrissy crafts.

Getting married as a student doesn't leave you with a lot of money, but it does leave you with a lot of assorted jars. And what better use of the ol' jam jar could there be than a little Christmas crafternooning? I challenge you to think of one.

Mostly, I’m planning to fill mine with desserts, cold drinks, and leftover baubles from my tree, but there are endless options for filling ideas. It's just like a tombola!

These example ideas are fantastic. I’m certainly going to give the little snow globes a go this weekend too!

Other jar-filling suggestions include: homemade Nutella, jams, pickles, trifle, spiced chai tea, and floral arrangements. Of course if, unlike me, your home isn’t filled with empty jars, try using vases, bottles, and other glass ornaments. Anything goes! A fish bowl snow globe perhaps?
