Mock Ice Cream February 07 2013, 0 Comments
So your milk and cream rations have run out for the month, but you feel like a cold and creamy treat. What can you possibly do? Take a look back to old times and pretend your eating ice cream!
To make mock ice-cream (banana flavoured) you will need:
-Bananas (1 Banana per serve)
Step 1: Get a bunch of bananas, peel and freeze overnight.
Step 2: Break each banana into pieces.
Step 3: Put them into a food processor and blend baby!
Pop back in the freezer for an hour or two!
You can also add other frozen fruits (mango, pineapple, berries etc) and coconut milk.
Please note: The price of bananas may exceed the price of store bought ice cream. In which case, probably just buy the ice cream......!
