the origin story
Something that makes you stop and stare.
Twenty-something years of vintage, a styling career that started in New York, and decades spent collecting, styling and sourcing.
new york, looking back
I was obsessed with fashion.
Before vintage was fashionable, before I opened stores, before styling became my career, I was pulling clothes apart and making them into something else.
Then I moved to New York.
One cold call to Paper Magazine later, I was assisting stylists, working on shoots, and spending my nights surrounded by creative people who dressed with confidence, individuality and a point of view.
I went to fashion parties because that's where dinner was.
I learned that great style isn't about having more. It's about knowing what deserves a place in your wardrobe.
My first styling job paid me in a pair of Doc Martens. I wore them until they fell apart.
I came home and opened the first Ra Ra Superstar in Bondi Beach in 2001.
Since then, I've styled editorials, sourced vintage around the world, opened stores, and spent more than two decades developing an eye for the pieces that stand the test of time.
These days you'll find me in Paddington, Brisbane, running Thrifta Queens and still doing what I love most: styling, sourcing and curating.

New York taught me this
Great style isn't about trends. It's about having a point of view.
A tight curation
Cashmere, leather, tailoring, vintage designer. Pieces chosen to stay in your wardrobe, not leave it next season.
Tom Ford-era Gucci
Still my favourite era. If a piece doesn't stop me in my tracks, it doesn't make the rack.
The best pieces always tell a story.
Come find yours.
